1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account or using BakeryBatch, you agree to these Terms of Service. BakeryBatch is operated by HealthStack ("we", "us", "our"), a company based in Toronto, Canada. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What BakeryBatch Does
BakeryBatch is a software-as-a-service platform that helps food businesses generate nutrition labels, cost recipes, manage production, and track inventory. We support FDA (United States), CFIA (Canada), and UK label formats.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. One account per person; do not share your credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Your Data and Ownership
You own your recipes, ingredient data, and any content you create in BakeryBatch. We do not claim ownership over your data. We access your data only to provide the service and will not sell it to third parties.
5. Label Accuracy and Regulatory Compliance
This is important — please read carefully.
Nutrition labels generated by BakeryBatch are based entirely on the data you provide. You are responsible for verifying that your labels are accurate and comply with the regulations of your jurisdiction (FDA, CFIA, UK Food Standards Agency, or any other applicable authority).
BakeryBatch is a tool, not a regulatory compliance service. We do not certify, guarantee, or warrant that any label produced by our platform meets specific regulatory requirements.
If your jurisdiction requires laboratory analysis of your products, it is your responsibility to obtain that analysis. Nutrient values calculated by BakeryBatch are based on reference database values (USDA, CNF, CoFID) and may differ from laboratory results.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: misuse the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, reverse-engineer the platform, use automated tools to scrape data, or use BakeryBatch for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to terminate accounts engaged in abusive behaviour.
7. Subscriptions and Payment
BakeryBatch offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
8. Service Availability
We aim to keep BakeryBatch available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service downtime.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HealthStack and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of BakeryBatch, including but not limited to: label errors, regulatory fines, product recalls, lost profits, or business interruption.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of BakeryBatch after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of BakeryBatch shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
